Advance care planning is much more than an end-of-life planning tool. It’s the beginning of a conversation about your wishes in times of serious illness, who could make decisions for you if you can’t, and what could be done to protect your human dignity and maintain comfort. These are always important considerations, and the COVID-19 pandemic is prompting many people to act.
But so often, people don’t know where to begin, or how to begin, so they delay.
That’s where Patsy Treece can help. Patsy brings decades of experience and a holistic approach to guide you through how to start – and have — these important conversations so your family knows exactly what you want.
Patsy Treece is a national expert on advance care planning and palliative care. She spent over 35 years as a Critical Care Research Nurse at Harborview and recently was invited to present at the 2020 PNW Palliative Care Conference at the University of Washington. She also serves on the Board of Trustees with the Northshore Schools Foundation.
