Gifts by Will and Living Trusts
When you leave a portion of your assets to the Foundation, you leave a legacy for future generations. Your investment impacts the lives of thousands of Northshore community students. In addition, your legacy gift may help reduce your taxable estate base and create an advantage for other beneficiaries. By designating the Northshore Schools Foundation Endowment in your will or living trust, you become a member of our Legacy Society.
How It Works
You include a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust. At your death, the Northshore Schools Foundation receives the bequest specified by you. Below are some examples of the language you may want to use.
I give, devise, and bequeath to the Northshore Schools Foundation nonprofit corporation #91-1680139, located in Bothell, WA. ___________ (amount/description of asset).
I give, devise, and bequeath to the Northshore Schools Foundation nonprofit corporation #91-1680139, located in Bothell, WA. ____________ % of my estate.
or
I give, devise, and bequeath to the Northshore Schools Foundation nonprofit corporation #91-1680139, located in Bothell, WA. all the rest, residue, and remainder of my property, real, personal, or mixed; after all personal bequests have been made.
