If you have a Donor Advised Fund, or DAF, and need somewhere to donate, Northshore Schools Foundation is a great organization right here in your community ready to put your donation to work.
At Northshore Schools Foundation, we continually strive to make a positive impact in the lives of our students, and it’s people like you who make this possible. Last year, community support enabled the Northshore Schools Foundation to:
— Grant 70 requests to teachers at 28 schools across Northshore, totaling $72,222—the highest number of grants in foundation history;
— Support 286 families with direct financial assistance totaling $67,775 for academic support for their student in need, urgent home needs or a one-time crisis;
— Collect and distribute backpacks and school supplies for more than 1,600 students; and
— Fund $17,500 in motel stays, gas money and other assistance to homeless families.
